Father Breen Council
Knights of Columbus, Father James T. Breen Council #7490, was chartered on February 1, 1980, in Patterson (Putnam Lake), New York. We were chartered within the Sacred Heart Church, 414 Haviland Drive, Patterson, New York and the majority of our members continue to utilize this parish as our religious center.
Father Breen council was dedicated and chartered in memory of the late Father James T. Breen (seen at right), Sacred Heart's parish priest, who passed on while marching in the local Memorial Day Parade. To this day, our council still commemorates Father Breen's legacy in our activities as we continue our benevolent mission.
