Knights of Columbus, Father James T. Breen Council #7490, was chartered on February 1, 1980, in Patterson (Putnam Lake), New York. We were chartered within the Sacred Heart Church, 414 Haviland Drive, Patterson, New York and the majority of our members continue to utilize this parish as our religious center.
We are a six time Star Council!
Father Breen council was dedicated and chartered in memory of the late Father James T. Breen, Sacred Heart’s parish priest, who passed on while marching in the local Memorial Day Parade. To this day, our council still commemorates Father Breen’s legacy in our activities as we continue our benevolent mission.
Father Breen council has regular business meetings on the third Wednesday of every month. Our council also organizes, hosts, and sponsors many activities and events throughout the year.
Father Breen council is organized within the Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus at the following hierarchy: New York State Council • District #47 • Westchester/Putnam Division
